What: An interactive video series using pre-existing YouTube videos that allows you to explore Disneyland from a POV of a guest walking through the park and experiences the attractions

Why: When Disney Parks around the world closed in early 2020 due to the pandemic, Disney fans were left to scour YouTube to find POV videos of their favorite attractions and “relive” the experience. Deciding that there should be something more immersive for Disney fans, I used the interactive video editor website “Eko.com” to create a full POV experience of walking through Disneyland, with occasional prompts asking where you’d like to explore and what rides you’d like to experience.
My video was discovered by the Director of Global Programming for the University of California - Santa Cruz, who arranged for me to host a series of “Virtual Tours” of Disneyland to hundreds of students from around the world using the Zoom platform combined with the interactive Eko video from November 2020 through February 2021.
