IMMERSIVE

What: An hour-long 90’s-themed immersive experience

Why: This project started back in the Summer of 2019, when I was asked to compete in the Los Angeles Immersive Invitational, a 48-hour immersive theatre competition hosted by the After Hours Theatre Company. I grabbed a few friends and we put together a 15-minute show that allowed me to embrace my nostalgia for all things 1990’s. I eventually turned this into an hour-long experience that was planned for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. When the festival was cancelled due to the pandemic, I worked with Katnip Productions to bring the show to a Zoom format. We were thrilled to be awarded “Outstanding Achievement in Livestreamed Production” and audience choice for “Outstanding Achievement in Ensemble Performances” as part of the 2020 No Proscenium Awards for immersive experiences!
